what to do on a rainy day?

I%26#39;m set to arrive in Prague on Wednesday, and I see by the weather report that it%26#39;s likely to rain for a couple of days. Any suggestions for good rainy day things to do?

Thanks! Emily

sorry for the bad joke above!

you can still do sightseeing, inside st. vitus for example, the strahov monastery library, national theater (only weekend mornings), the mucha museum, the bilek villa. the communist museum could be interesting for americans. Plenty of galeries.

plenty of classical music concerts and jazz clubs, black theater (jiri strnec).

plenty of good bars, pubs and clubs. nice to hang out on a rainy afternoon at cafe slavia.

hope that will help...

Thanks for the second response. Didn%26#39;t mind the joke, but it wasn%26#39;t too informative! :)

in summer when it is raining, as heinokules says, you just take an umbrella and sightsee. there are loads of places you can look indoors and shelter from the rain - in the castle buildings, in a multitude of churches and in the old town hall on the old town square. or if the rain gets really heavy, just pop into a pub for 30 minutes. therefore no need to have alternative weather plans. the forecast is for showers, not to rain all day
