Going to the Opera

My husband are going to the Opera one night and I would like to know of a good dinner spot to hit up either prior or after the opera. Is there a bar in the opera house for a drink prior to the show or for intermission?

which opera house are you going to? there are three in different location in the city. this information is rather crucial to recommend you a restaurant or bar nearby

at the intermission, all of the opera houses serve reasonable priced bubbly in quite opulent lobbies

Good point Peb7, I neglected to mention the opera house. The State Opera house, it looks beautiful from website.

then zahrada v opere as heinokules is next door. if you book after the opera (which you need to do), just say after the opera as the time, as you don%26#39;t know when it finishes. before the opera, you don;t need to book. when you come out of the opera house, turn right and then walk round the back of the opera house and you will find the restaurant (just follow everyone else)

at the interval, take some bubbly on the first floor and drink it on the balcony
