We are staying at the Andels Hotel in September and wondered the best way to get from the airport to the hotel. Are taxis the best option?

I used this transfer company on a recent trip and can%26#39;t fault them.
You can get to your hotel by public transport but that does involve a bus and a metro journey.
The cost of a one-way transfer is about 650cz(about £15) you may get a airport taxi for a bit less.

The cheapest shuttle direct to your hotel (480 CZK) is www.cedaz.cz . For half that price (for 2 people) you can take their public shuttle to the city centre and take the metro from there (direct line) to station Andel (assuming it%26#39;s close to the hotel), 20 CZK per public transport ticket, so you can safe 200 CZK ( 5 £ ) by doing that.
I took the very cheap public bus to a metro station but found that when it arrived it was already quite full and I had no place to sit, obviously because there is more than one place where it stops at the airport. It wasn%26#39;t clear to me where I should have gotten on to avoid that.
For taking money from a ATM at the airport, go to the right to the far end of the arrival hall where there are several next to one another.

andels is not in the city centre and so cedaz%26#39;s out of city centre price will apply which will be 960 crowns and not 480 crowns. the cheapest non public transport way is by jumping in one of the yellow AAA taxis you will see outside the airport door who should do the trip for 500 crowns or so. one warning. the direct route to andels is via what looks like a country road going down a cliff. don%26#39;t think the taxi driver is taking you down a track to bump you off - it is the quickest route
