the herna bar at masarykovo nadrazi is good

|||

Indeed, the HERNA chain of pubs in Prague is quite famous, I suggest the one on the corner up behind KFC on Wencelas square ;-)

|||

peb, praguepivo - you are both cruel!

Yorksabroad - you will find many places around Wencelas Square (Vaclavske Namesti). Try using www.allpraha.com to get reviews of bars.

Unfortunately stag parties become are bit of a nuisance if you live in Prague, so you are unlikely to get useful advice from the locals on this forum.

thirdpenguin. the advice is very useful. herna bars are some of the only bars that open all night

|||

Try Amsterdam?

Just do some research on where to go. I%26#39;m sure it can%26#39;t be that hard. There are many places for stag parties. However, I think the Prague locals should recommend places for young, loud, men searching for %26quot;undressed%26quot; ladies. It would keep them off the streets and stop the noise they make in public areas, I will not name. They are going to go to Prague no matter what so I would say...give them a place to go. It would increase revenue for those ladies looking for it and keep them from ruining others nights with yelling and doing push ups ( which I don%26#39;t get why stag parties do push ups drunk, that would make me sick). LOL

|||

buffalo you are rather naive. %26quot;... it would increase the revenue of ladies looking for it ...%26quot;.

do you really think that the majority of ladies in prague who do this do what they do because of choice and see much of the money which is generated?

Some places that are ideal for stag parties (assuming they are still open); George %26amp; Dragon, Caffreys irish bar, legends sports bar, chateau bar, Double Trouble (all of these are on or near the Old Town Square). Rocky O Reilleys and The pack are just off Wencelas Square. Zlaty Strom, Lavka and Kalovy Lazne are near the Charles Bridge (on the Old Town side). For strip clubs try Atlas just off Wencelas Sq. Hope this helps!!

Peb %26amp; Buffalo, judging from the age range of 21- 60 i would guess that for women they are talking about the kind you %26quot;chat up%26quot; or watch disrobe rather than the ones that peb7 implies are unwilling participants in prague%26#39;s massive s*x trade (that word with the * hit the TA profanity filter).

In any event there are many places that do cater to stag groups. Caffrey%26#39;s on Old Town Square, Rocky O%26#39;Reilly%26#39;s just off wenceslas square, etc. For a complete rundown on all sorts of these places, including reviews from visitors like yourselves, look at the directory on www.praguenet.com

Peb I am not refering to hookers or legalized prostitution. I am refering to %26quot;Gentlemen%26#39;s Clubs%26quot; or %26quot;not so raunchy strip clubs%26quot;. I am not naive at all. In the USA, exotic dancers make good money and yes they do get to keep a lot of it. In Prague I would not know how much money they get to keep. I would imagine if that is their job and that%26#39;s how they make money is by dancing ...then yes, the exotic dancers would want clientele. Without clientele they wouldn%26#39;t have a job. If they are working in a Gentlemen%26#39;s Club, choice or no choice, they are there to make money from that style of work. There are always choices in life. Why someone is working there at the time...money or a job. I don%26#39;t think they would be working there for free or chained to a stage against their will.

So, if these men are going there regardless, and for that reason regardless, there is nothing you can do to change it (unfortunately, unless fight the government on it). Again, I am not speaking about hookers, just exotic dancers.

Not to be rude, but the only thing I have been naive about regarding Prague is the fact that your posts always try to paint a picture to visitors that people from Prague are sarcastic, think they are superior, and are very fast to pass judgement. I have learned by going to Prague that the people there are completely opposite. They are extremely nice and friendly to each other as well as visitors.

PS - Since I am not from Prague, if there are exotic dancers that are working at a club against your own free will, I apologize. Yet I don%26#39;t think this is the case. I am also not saying dancers %26quot;like%26quot; their job. Most likely they hate it.
