It is right down town, can be very noisy because of drunk tourists at night. Very central.

Hope it is not too late for you to reconsider, but please see my post entitled %26quot;apartment not as described%26quot;:

tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g274707-i96-k13606…

Website promises high-speed internet and 100 channels of satellite TV; in reality, there is no computer and only 3 local TV channels. As no-one goes to Prague to watch TV or surf the net, these are not really big omissions, but it seems unfair to advertise something that does not exist. More pertinent defects were the lack of a coffee maker (again as promised on the website), the fridge that did not work, and the fan that did not work (essential during August).

I immediately got in touch with the Agent, who advised that he had passed my message on to the owner, but nothing more was ever heard. In the event that you have any issues with these apartments, don%26#39;t expect that they are going to be dealt with.

On the positive side, the apartments are very central, and quite spacious, depending of course on how many of you there are. The price was extremely reasonable too.

We had the third floor apartment (77 steps, no lift), which had a bedroom with 4 beds looking over Zelezna; a lounge with a bed, and a sofa that converted into a double, again looking over Zelezna, and a large kitchen/breakfast room at the back of the apartment. Toilet/shower were off the kitchen, and we only ran out of hot water on one occasion!

If you are a light sleeper, this is probably not the apartment for you. Although Zelezna is pedestrianised, there are an awful lot of noisy pedestrians passing that way at all hours. Street sweeping vehicles seem to pass by every other hour, making an incredible din, and you can hear the astronomical clock as if it were in the next room.

If you are not a light sleeper, are just looking for somewhere to rest your head overnight, and want somewhere central, then I am sure you could do far worse than these apartments. The misrepresentation, and lack of customer care once the money had been handed over, does leave a sour taste though, and I don%26#39;t think we will be using these apartments again.

I hope this helps someone out there.
