Hey, I am touring Europe this summer, and was just wondering if people know if you can buy UK brand cigarettes in Prague, Silk Cut (either Silver or Purple).. And if so, are the cheaper there, or more expensive?
Thanks
Joe

I was on Prague a couple of months ago (I am a regular traveller there) a friend I was with had difficulty finding Silk Cut (his normal brand) but they were available at the airport.
no idea on price but I beleive they are a great deal cheaper than Britain.
My friend ended up buying a local brand that he said were very cheap,I think he called them El Crappo!

You should find Silk Cut fairly easy, not much difference between city and airport for prices, about £15-16 for 200.One place to try is a tobacco shop down an alleyway on the left as you walk from the old town square towards charles bridge

Try airport duty-free shops, eg. the Czech Airlines duty-free just behind the departure passport control. They are usually well stocked with UK brands of cigarettes.
Popular local brands are Sparta or Petra.

beware you can only bring 200 cigarettes per person back duty free from prague. buying at the airport guarantees that the cigarettes are what they say they are on the packet
