I am trying to book a hotel in Prague for mid-September, but five of my top choices have problems with their security certificates when I try to check reservations. Since the many different hotel booking sites are so different when it comes to availability and prices for the same hotels, I really like to check with the hotels themselves. But is this security certificate problem a common thing with Prague hotels?

i am reading that you are not booking with the hotels direct but via some agency. is the agency in the us or elsewhere. if you are booking via an agency, this may not have anything to do with prague hotels, but with the way the agency operates. which agencies are you trying you book with?
If you tell us which hotels you are trying to book, we can hopefully provide you with their direct website (if one exists), but sometimes booking direct with the hotel means that you pay more (the rack rate) than the discounted block booking rate which the agency has secured and which sells rooms to the public for

No, the problem is with the hotels%26#39; direct websites. At the Charles Bridge (Archibald), Hotel Pariz, and Hotel Julian are three of the ones that have security site warnings.

if you have the websites and the contact details of the hotels on the websites, have you tried ringing them up and booking and giving your credit card details by telephone?
