Anyone stay at either of these hotels? Which would you recommend?

look at the reviews section of this site under %26#39;prague hotels%26#39; for reviews of each hotel. 134 mainly good reviews of the cloister inn. 34 mixed reviews of the ibis.
until they have finished building the shopping centre behind the ibis, I would go for the cloister inn

I stayed at the Cloister Inn last month and I absolutely loved it! The location was wonderful, we were very close to the Charles Bride and a short walk to Old Town and Lesser Town. The hotel itself was very nice, we had a tripple are a room was a generous size for European standards. Also, the staff there was very nice and accomadating. I also enjoyed the breakfast and the free internet was nice (i got to check in back home).

W also stayed at the Cloister last December, it is a nice clean, well located but basic hotel which is reflected in the price.

I just booked a room at the Cloister Inn for October from www.yeego.com for 102 Euros per night including tax and breakfast. Attempted to book directly with the hotel and they wanted 140+ Euro per night!

Yes we used yeego and got a free night as well.

I have heard more about the Cloister than the Ibis. I personally recommend U Tri Bubnu (off of Old Town Square). They are very centrally located, affordable, the rooms are nice, and the staff is super freindly.
