Hi,
We finally decided to go to Prague in mid-late Septemeber. We are coming from London and want to spend 2 - 3 days there. We are a couple in our 30s and want to know which area is best to stay. We don%26#39;t mind walking to get around to see the attractions. We want to stay somewhere quiet and very clean. We are looking for something under $200 per night. Any recommendations? Oh, also, we are planning on going to see Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Old Town, Astronomical Clock, and Jewish Quarter. I think we can get to see all of those within 2 days. Does that sound about right?
Thanks,

I%26#39;d stay in Mala Strana, near the castle. What you want to see is all very close to one another. I%26#39;d go to www.booking.com, select your dates, then at the top right hotels in Mala Strana and then you find great hotels. I stayed in the Aria (next to the American embassy) which will be over your budget but Residence Monastery seems great to me, or Konstans, or one of the others. Read the reviews there as you can find that some complain about noisyness, like about The Charles.
a great restaurant there is www.restaurant-david.cz .

Agreed with dutchguy, try hotel Archibald at charles bridge. I%26#39;d rather stay 3 days...

3 days is better than 2, but if you are here for 2 days only spend one day in the castle area and 1 day in the old town. if here for a third day, see other things that interest you on the first two days on the third day.
with the exchange rate as it is $200 will not get you too much in september. look at what one of the local agencies www.travelcook.com has for this price. saying that, the two hotels recommended above are worth exploring

Before I moved here, I stayed in Hotel Anna. Nothing fancy, but cute and nice. In Vinohrady, near Wenceslas Square:

Check out the Arcadia Residence near Vysehrad. It is away from the crowded touristy areas, reasonable prices, nice quiet area %26amp; rated #1 on this forum. Best of all is mama%26#39;s homemade breakfasts and tiramasu.

HI!
I%26#39;ve been to Prague about a year ago. I found really good deals on www.aaaahotels.com. They have good descriptions on hotels and they%26#39;re fast in responding. Try them.
