First of all I am not « taking side » so please do not “jump on me” for my observations which merely reflect what I have noticed ever since I “browse” on this forum.
Personally, I have found that the “local experts” on this T.A forum very helpful, and very patient.
I have seen simple questions being asked and answered over and over again while a “search” would have done the trick. I have seen the same questions asked over and over again even though the answers had just been posted the day before or so; and I have found it so amazing that the “local experts” on this particular forum did take the time to reply to those questions!
On the T.A forums for other destinations or other travel forums, “local experts” or fellow travellers would not have been that kind nor that patient.
Perhaps it would help to re-read the “TA sticky” at the top of the Forum every now and then, and remember “local experts” are just “volunteers”. Also, one would be amazed to find the volume of information “google” can provide.

I hate to say it, but half the time when I don%26#39;t know the answer to a question (and for those that think we are the fountain of all knowledge, this does occur), I google and czech google (seznam) the subject that the person asks about and the link to the answer appears.
The last question I can recall being absolutely stumped about was a question from pingird of where a certain pub was (cannot remember what the name was) and I didn%26#39;t have a clue as I had never heard of it. think she was asking a trick question to keep us on our feet

I believe Pingrid is a %26quot;he%26quot; (mentioned a wife)

sorry pingrid
