simcards to use whilst in Prague

i am visiting Prague this week.

How much will the sim card cost and how much will an into cz call cost using this sim.

SIM cards come in various units - one of the cheapest one is 500 crowns. How much a call into and out of the czech republic costs depends on the phone company whose SIM card you use and the tarriff which you hook into. In the worse case, aim for 40 crowns or one pound per minute.

If you are after a SIM card, make sure that your local mobile phone company has not locked your mobile. If they have, a local SIM card will not work in your non local registered mobile

This is nonsense.

Vodafone has prepaid 200 CZK credit SIM card which costs 200 CZK (local calls are 2.5 CZK/min own network, 6 CZK other networks.

02 and T-Mobile sell SIM cards with minimum credit for 95 and 99 CZK respectively.
