Thinking of visiting Prague but need to convince hubby !!!!!

Hello everyone,

I would love to go to Prague for our wedding anniversary in December. Trouble is hubby not so keen.

If I can convince him it will be cheaper than a break in the UK then I might just win him over.

How much are flights from the UK and hotels.? Why is the best place to look for a cheap deal?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

(PS: is there much of a language barrier)

I paid less than £300 for a week in Prague in may this year staying in a 3 star hotel just outside the main city center.flwe from edinburgh with Jet 2 .com and booked my own hotel ( one i had stayed in before.

check what companies fly from your local airport,certainly where you live you have a few options within a short distance.

tell him beer is cheap there and very very good,band fortunately there is no Tetleys Bitter.

prices of flights of course depend when you fly, what time / day you fly, where you fly from, how far in advance you book and who you fly with. from leeds, jet2.com and the same company flies from manchester as does bmibaby and czech airlines. thomsonfly.com flies from doncaster. for all the above, you should look at the relevant airline companies for the best deals; nowhere else

hotels can be had for as low as 50 pounds in some places, although if you want more comfort, you obviously need to pay more

in the tourist areas, everyone speaks english. if you speak slowly, you don%26#39;t need to understand any czech to have a good time

once over here, the cost of living (food, drink, meals etc. is less than half the price of the UK)

Another plus is that a lot of the booking companys offer free nights at this time of year.

Language barrier ,you will be put to shame when you realise how many locals speak english and good english at that.

Thomsonfly offers cheap fares from Doncaster and EasyJet from East Midlands. BMI Baby from Manchester and Birmingham. Czech Airlines from Manchester.
