Hi
You don%26#39;t need a cab to see the sights of Prague, it%26#39;s a very walkable city. There are two major tourist areas, the Old Town and the Castle district, although these are not exclusively the only nice places to go.
Tell us where you are staying and then it will be easier to tell you how to get around.

The sightseeing question has been asked many times and there are many threads about this. You can search for them with the search box.
I think you need to be more specific about where you will be staying and what you like to eat and how much you can spend.
I write a blog about restaurants where I eat in Prague. Perhaps it will help you:

as said by jackie, you don%26#39;t need a cab for sightseeing. the central areas are pedestrianised and so a cab will not be able to take you to them. the centre is quiet walkable and if you need to there are cheap trams to take you up to the castle

I just recently returned from 30 days in Prague. Search under adnil1962 for my trip report.
I added a section of all the activities and restaurants that I did/visited with my take on if they were worth it...

me and my husband intend staying at Hotel Dum at prague 4. We r from Goa India %26amp; what will be the weather like in the first week of Nov ?
|||
look at the reviews of the hotel on the reviews section of this site under %26#39;prague hotels%26#39;. the best review was one which said instead of being called the hotel dum, it should be called the hotel dump
not one positive review, hotel miles out (long bus journey even to the metro), so it will take you over an hour to get to the city. I would find another hotel
weather in november is about 10 degrees. it often rains
