Hof germany to prague

Hi,

Any suggestions on how to get to Prague from Hof. And, where can i look for more information?

Generally 2 possibilities:

Train via Marktredwitz - Cheb, or via Dresden. Depends on day time and date. Other ways are not worth. See www.idos.cz (English version available) for mor details (be sure to write down right date).

Thanks for the quick response about the trains. I was also wondering if it is possible to rent a car from Hof and leave it in Prague, at the airport?

perfectly possible, but you will incur a very high drop off charge (essentially the cost for someone from germany to come to prague to pick the car up and take it back to germany - german registered cars are not much use for hire companies when they sit in prague). for much the same cost, it would probably be easier to book a private transfer company to come and pick you up in hof and take you to prague airport

alternatively, you can take a transfer to karlovy vary and there are buses at least every hour from karlovy vary to prague airport

Thanks for the additional info. How would i find a private car service in Prague that would pick me up in Hof, and take me to the Airport in Prague?
