5 days in Prague

Please help me design a itinerary for Prague, I have 5 full days (Oct 30-Nov 5). My interest include architecture, museums, history, castles, ruins, etc. I%26#39;m travelling solo.

spend one day in the castle area, one day in the old town and one day on petrin hill and the upper castle area. take a day trip out to karlstejn castle which can be easily made by train. hold the last day to look at things that interest you on the first four days and which you would like to have a closer look at (such as vysehrad, the original prague castle)

for an unforgettable daytrip consider the Nazi concentration camp at Terezin. The Jewish Museum tour is fascinating as well.

Take a ride on one of the ferry%26#39;s near the Charles bridge! it%26#39;s so beautiful to see the city from the rivers view. I took a paddle boat with some friends and it was one of my favorite things- simple I know but nice! Happy traveling! Prague is amazing! I just went there on a tour with Contiki it was great! Check them out for future traveling for sure, there are a great way to see the world!

the new little ferry run by the prague venice people is good, but only if you are a prague resident. otherwise it is too expensive for a tourist and you may as well book a full prague venice trip which is less crowded and gives you more time for pictures.

look at the following for further details -

Head to Lidice for an afternoon and stop by the church of St Cyril %26amp; Methodius. Both have very moving stories (in English) that are linked by the assasination of Reinhard Heydrich (one of Hitler%26#39;s right hand men).

Also see the trip report that I posted recently (under adnil1962)
