Which Hotel - Plzen

I posted this question on the Plzen forum but noticed it%26#39;s not visited very often.

Can anyone on this forum help?

Which hotel would you choose?

Hotel Continental

Hotel Plzen

Hotel U Zvonu

We are looking for comfort and cleanliness but nothing fussy.

the newly opened courtyard marriott is the only decent hotel to stay in plzen.

plzen is 1.5 hours by train from prague. do you really need to stay in plzen for the night?

Hi peb7,

the reason that we also want to stay in Plzen is that we understand there are also several good pubs there.

We don%26#39;t really want to stay a night at the Spa as you said yourself their beer is not that good and as far as we can see there is not much else around there.

We therefore decided to split our trip in half with a side trip to the spa from Plzen which makes it a better journey.

I will happily take any suggestions if you can think of better way to do it.

using public transport it is unlikely you will get to chodova plana after you fly in late afternoon, so staying in plzen is the only way. as said previously this will allow you to visit the plzen brewery. the problem is unless you are a group of 5, the first tour is of the brewery is at 12.00 which means you can only go to chodovar in the afternoon
