What to Wear in Prague

Good day. I%26#39;ll be in Prague next week and I was wondering how the weather was. How are the day and nighttime temps? Will I need a jacket at night? Also, what attire should I plan on for nice restaurants, concerts and operas?

hot at the moment. well over 70F. evenings are warm as well. you should not need a jacket unless you need a formal one. prague is quite casual in summer - smart casual is acceptable at most restaurants and even to the opera, although most locals have at least a jacket and slacks

My parents went to an opera (had a box) and were wearing jeans. There were photos to prove that they weren%26#39;t the only ones wearing jeans.

personally would not go to the opera wearing jeans (rather inappropriate and a little insulting) although noone will stop you or turn you away - jacket and tie not essential, although smart casual with a jacket is not out of place. the only people who wear jeans to the opera here are tourists rather than locals

flat shoes a must. everything is quite casual. A jacket may come in handy as a windbreaker, just in case you are caught in the rain.

Flat shoes with good cushioned soles - prague has many cobbles
