T mobile arena

Could someone tell me how far this stadium is from the airport? and can you recommend any hotels in this area? Thank you

The stadium is about a 20-30 min taxi run from the airport. It should cost you about 400CZK.

However if you are intending to rush to the airport after a show the traffic in the area will be busy and you should allow an hour as you may have to queue for a taxi.

It%26#39;s also do-able by public transport, but not great if you have bags. Get 119 bus from airport to Dejvicka, walk round the corner to the Vítezné námestí stop, get the 1 or 8 tram to Strossmayerovo námestí and then the 12 or 14 tram to Výstavište, if you get the connections right this should take 50 mins, however allow 1hour 15 mins for this journey, as it depends on the availability of connections.

I%26#39;m no use on recommending hotels - I%26#39;ve only ever lived in prague not visited.

there is an airport bus called the Airport Express which goes directly from the airport every 30 minutes non stop to holesovice station which is 10 minutes walk from the T mobile arena. there is a hotel called the hotel expo almost next door. Try also looking at the belvedere hotel or the park hotel which are also walkimng distance.

however as thirdpenguin says, the vystaviste exhibition grounds where the t mobile arena is is connected by tram to the city centre, so you do not need to stay nearby

Peb - you are excellent. I was 90% sure the airport express went direct to Holesovice but for some reason dppraha wasn%26#39;t showing it. The airport express is a much better route for sure.
