Praha Holesovice to Kampa

I am going to be arriving in Prague from Vienna on the

train arriving in Praha holesovice and I need to get to the

Kampa hotel what is the best way to get there?? Thank you

best way to get there depends on how much luggage you have. if you have lots of luggage, there are now AAA taxis outside holesovice station. AAA is one of the most reliable taxi companies in town. a taxi to kampa should be no more than 400 crowns.

if you travel light, tram 12 goes directly from holesovice station to kampa and you get off at the tram stop ujezd. the hotel is 5 minutes walk away. you should be able to get by on a 14 crown 20 minute tram ticket if you have only aircraft hand luggage sized luggage

cab fare at the train station ATM. What is the current

exchange rate for USD?

there are ATM%26#39;s at holesovice. just run your hand over them before you use them to make sure that they have not been tampered with. $1 buys about 22 Czech crowns currently

Thanks again Peb 7 I am assuming I am looking for an

external device that copies info from bank cards such as

PIN # and account. Is it just safer to exchange at hotel

or bank? I am arriving in about 1 1/2 weeks very much

looking forward to the visit. Thank you again you are most

if you really want to play safe, chnage some dollars at the exchange office at the station to be enough for the taxi and then use your bank card in the city to exchange from bank machines at actual bank branches. there are a couple of banks on mostecska street next to the charles bridge, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel
