Hey guys,
Could any of you possibly give me an estimated walking time between the I.P. Pavlova metro station and the main central attractions of Prague such as the Charles Bridge etc.? Am thinking about booking accommodation in this area and was wondering just how close it would actually be to the centre.
Thanks in advance,
TC

IP Pavlova is a major transit node in Prague, well connected by metro, trams, night trams so while in theory it is possible to walk to major tourist attractions (most of them are within 2-3km range} in reality I believe it%26#39;s much more convenient to buy the 24/72/168 hour pass for 80/220/280 CZK ( 3/8/10 EUR) depending on how long you will stay in Prague and just jump on/off the tram or metro as you need.

Oooo If you%26#39;re staying in I.P Pavlova, make sure you get a Sunday Brunch at Radost! It%26#39;s divine.

The Hotel St George is 200 Mts from I P Pavlova, and is excellent. As someone has said, Use the trams and metro. tram 22 and 23 go from pavlova to the castle etc.

you do the walk once, via wenceslas square. back to the hotel is all uphill and is dreary and I would say 40 minutes to the charles bridge.
as JACKNORMAN says, 22 or 23 tram from down the street takes you direct to the old town and castle area. use it and save yourself time. you can buy 3 or 7 day public transport cards at the airport when you arrive
