koruna is still in use, probably till 2012. 2 years ago a cheap beer was 17czk now it%26#39;s 21. still possible to pay around 17, i know at least 1 place but less then 30 is ok. food between 100 and 200 (in normal czech places).

euro has no effect whatsoever on prices here. in the centre, 30 crowns for a beer is standard and many places in the main streets charge more. it is still though much cheaper than england

I was there in may 2007 and have have visited in 2006 ,2004 and 2002,prices have gone up a bit but it is still a great deal cheaper then the Uk especially for food and drinks.lot more higher end resturants and bars now but even then they are a good bit cheaper than the equivalent in the UK.

Cheapest black beer I found was 19.5. Cheapest Gambrinus 21. Rarely paid more than 30 for a beer. Average was between 23 and 28. Of course in clubs, british pubs and on Wencelas Sq you can pay much more.
