Residence Pinkas Prague

Has anyone stayed here?

|||

no reviews on this site, but the Pinkas building is a historic building on a quiet street near to Charles Square and about 15 minutes walk from the centre. Expect basic Ikea furniture and modern bathrooms from the pictures I saw on a website

to peb7 - thank you very much!

do you think the area would be fine then?

|||

The area is fine, away from the loud crowds and yet close enough to walk downtown. Lots of restaurants around.

|||

my apartment has been changed last minute to APARTMENTS LIPOVA - can you advise on the area etc again please?

thanks in advance

|||

That is not a down town location, more a residential area. You can walk down town (ca 15 min) or take the metro.

|||

thanks for that

is it as nice an area as where the pinkas residence is?

are there restaurants and bars in the area?

|||

not far from Karlovo namesti tram and metro stations, but 10 minutes walk from the charles square, where in the Charles Square shopping centre there is an Albert supermarket. There is also a good restaurant called Kogo in the same building

Hi Julierose, do you like APARTMENTS LIPOVA after you return?

I am going in July, wonder if this is a decent apartment. Thanks!

I have stayed in APARTMENTS LIPOVA PRAGUE. It is clean but old, however for the price I am not complainting. The folks from Prague Holiday were very nice and helpful.

The location of APARTMENTS LIPOVA PRAGUE is quite good. There are a few good pubs/restaurants in walking distance (the one on Jenca right next to the apartment is awesome - I forgot the name though).

The only thing is the entry is bit dark and scary, and right next to an animal hospital. The light is usually off at night. if you are traveling alone, it can be kinda eerie. However the security is good enough that there are 2 gates before entering the apartment. Overall, I will stay there again if I am not traveling alone.
