Hi
Im taking my boyfriend to Prague in October(Its his 30th Birthday)
I would like to surprise him on the day with nice meal(maybe a limo ride there?) or a day in a spa or something memorable.
As I havent visited Prague before, im not sure what would be the best idea and do I need to book beforehand all my %26quot;surprises?!%26quot;
We are staying in apartment in old town- part of Arcadia residence.
I would be very grateful if anyone could help or offer ideas!

haven%26#39;t heard of many blokes that would like as a birthday present a day in a spa - maybe that is what you want to do? anyway, there aren%26#39;t any mineral water spas in prague, but a number of hotels do have (expensive) wellness centres which are open to outsiders
as for meals, there are many good restaurants in prague - some of the top restaurants in the old town are la perle de prague, mlynec, v zatisi and bellevue
as for more blokey things to do on your birthday, you can do lots of action things with various companies such as visiting a brewery, go karting, toboggan riding and even tank driving

You could do one of the Vintage car rides ( thats if they still run in October) nice open top vintage Skodas, you could possibly arrage with the driver to drop you off at a resturant.
I would go with Peb%26#39;s idea though .......TANK DRIVING!

When you put it like that I did start thinking that spa is a bit gay. Im probably thinkin what I would like to do-
but hey its not my birthday..................
Excuse my stupidness, but whats toboggan riding??
Or tank driving??
How do I find out more?
Thanks for your responses by the way- Im glad I asked!

toboggan is like a sledge on a track, but a metal one
www.bobovadraha.cz for further details. it is in the suburbs and reachable by taxi. good fun.
the people who do tank driving are www.offroadaction.cz they do cater for 2 people and do other activities as well; you do not have to be in a large group. the tank driving is unforgettable
www.pragueexperience.com also offer similar activities
or you can be really nice and let him go and watch some czech football
