What%26#39;s a main dish that people eat in Prague? What type of foods do they eat? Also, how%26#39;s the food in Budapest and Vienna? What are the main specialties?

Thanks

In Prague:

Beef goulash with dumplings

Breaded fried pork (schnitzel)

Pork knee

beef in a cream sauce with dumplings

Duck with red and white cabbage (sauerkraut)

Trout

I think it is similar to Austrian cuisine.

you will find a huge range of food in the city, mainly meat dishes with various veg and either potatoes or dumplings.

saurkraut and or red cabbage is often served.

On my last trip I had wild boar, venison.rabbit, game stews as well as more standard fare like chicken ,pork ,steaks and really good burgers. One of my favourite dishes was a loin of pork stuffed with plums served with a rich sauce ,potatoes and veg.

You won%26#39;t find much heavily spiced food but some great tasting grub.

my favorite dinner in Prague was Perpetuum (Duck restaurant) on Hutich 9, take A line to Dejvicka or tram.

Food is gourmet, and very tasty. The service is world-class, so different from downtown Prague.

In Vienna try %26quot;Tafelspitz%26quot; it%26#39;s Beef in Horseradish sauce, %26quot;Wiener Schnitzel%26quot; the original is made from veil and %26quot;Backhendl%26quot; breaded fried chicken with potatoe salad. Budapest goulash is different from czech or austrian goulash, it%26#39;s more a soup than a stew. Food is quite similar in those cities, it used to be one empire 100 years ago...

Oh, in Prague: Pork roast, cabbage and dumplings.
