Hi,
I have several hundred Euros that I am unlikely to need this year, so am considering changing these up into Krn for my visit next week.
If I want to do this here in the UK, I believe that I have to convert back to Sterling first, and then into CZK; hence, I would lose out twice on the exchange rate.
Another option might be to change the currency when in Prague. Looking at the following calculator:
www.kurzy.cz/kurzy-men/kurzy.asp…
...it seems like there are some fairly good deals around. Coming out top of the list is a company called Exchange.cz, does anyone have any experiences of dealing with this company?
Either way, it looks as if there are plenty of options for changing my money, and the rates appear to be far better than I would get here.

check what quantity of money applies to that exchange rate.often they will quote a great rate ,but it may be for a minimum of 10000 Euros. when you go to exchange a smaller amount the rate is no way near as favourable.

That is where I change my Euros/ Pounds. THey do have the best exchange rates in town, are centrally located and friendly. I am on my way there right now :-)!

I had to change a lot of money in a hurry when I left Prague a few weeks ago (my landlady kindly gave me my apartment deposit back in cash). I did this at the Travelex at the airport. The rate seemed reasonable, although I%26#39;m sure there are better rates to be had, it was the best I could get between receiving the money at 6pm and leaving the country at 8am.
