Hi,
Anybody know of a hotel that includes the following?
- great breakfast
- quiet
- real Prague look and feel (baroque) - not modern
- central (Mala Strana or Stare Mesto)
- around 180 - 200 euro?
We are undecided about whethet to go Grand Bohemia or pay in extra money and splash out on a more expensive hotel.
Any suggestions?

Tha Grand Bohemia is an old hotel, but the inside is new and gives you the Austrian feel. Breakfast is normal, I would say.
For the %26quot;real%26quot; Prague feel I would go to the Alchymist, which is perfectly located and very quiet. I have not had the breakfast there, but lunch is very good.

look at the bellagio. but if you want an american style huge breakfast, you need to go to an american style hotel like the marriott, hilton or intercontinental and they do not have a prague look and feel

I would also recommend the www.alchymisthotel.com . Rooms are 190-195 Euro and it looks fabulous and has a spa and is very quietly situated in a quiet street opposite the American embassy.. I stayed opposite in the Aria Hotel but you willl find that too modern. Aria Hotel has a great rooftop terrace though. If you stay in Mala Strana don%26#39;t forget a visit to the Vrtbovska gardens behind the Aria Hotel, wonderful gardens that are often used for weddings and wedding pictures.Fabulous view over Prague from it%26#39;s highest point.
Aria Hotel guests have free access to it with their room key and both earlier and till later than paying tourists, but the Alchymist has other attractions.

Try the Arcadia Residence. It%26#39;s a bit off the beaten path in Vysehrad but is a block from the river and only a few tram stops or a short walk to the Charles Bridge.
The area is safe, quiet and the breakfast is really unbelievable (especially the homemade tiramasu!!) The hotel is run by an Italian family.
The rooms are cute and the area is %26quot;real Prague%26quot;.
They are currently rated #1 on trip advisor. I stayed for 30 days last month and it was an incredible experience.
