don%26#39;t know what you mean by %26#39;cheap%26#39; as this varies from person to person. the cloister inn and the agnes residence hotel are both in the old town and so you only need public transport to and from the airport and possibly up to the castle. if you do need a pass, a 7 day pass (next smallest pass is 3 days) costs 280 crowns

hi!

Good choice on choosing Prague. I%26#39;ve been there with my girlfriend last winter. We absoultely loved it. Well, you should check the pages which provide hotels in Prague. I can heartly recommend you www.aaaahotels.com where I found my hotel - BestPrague. Very nice hotel.

I agree with Peb, we stayed at the Cloister and we didn%26#39;t use public transportation once. As long as you%26#39;re in good shape, everything is walking distance including the Castle.

U Tri Bubnu hotel is affordable and is centrally located. It%26#39;s around the corner from the Clock Tower / Old Town Square. We loved our stay there.

I just got back from 30 days in Prague and posted my trip report here and on fodors.com - I listed most of the places I ate, my hotel and all of the shows/activities that I did.... Search on adnil1962 to find it.
