Hotel Josef Bathroom

I am planning to stay at Josef Hotel in Prague

I may have a friend staying with me

I have seen all the photos on Hotel Josef and the bathrooms look like they are transparent glass and don%26#39;t offer much privacy

Is anyone able to verify this ?

Not all of them. Send an email to reservations and they will make sure you get a room with a %26quot;normal%26quot; bath.

the see through glass bathroom walls certainly exist in the superior rooms - am not sure that they exist in the smaller standard rooms or the suites.

even couples who have been married for a number of years have voiced displeasure and unease at the glass bathrooms. If this puts you off, try the maximilian on the next street or the icon hotel which is another design hotel near wenceslas square, which offer similar accomodation

Check with the hotel direct , for your own peace of mind, but when we stayed, in a superior room, the bathroom area had clear glass around the outside where the hand basin was, but the shower room and wc had frosted glass doors.
