We%26#39;re making our first trip to Prague the first week of October. Will we need to make hotel/hostel reservations in advance that time of year, or will we be able to find something when we get there? Looking for a nice hostel or budget hotel; cleanliness and a private bathroom are musts.
Since our travel dates are up in the air, we%26#39;re hesitant to book more than we have to before we actually get there.

i would always book before you come, not when you arrive. some hotels have quiet generous cancellation policies, so you can book and cancel at a late date.
one of the hostels which has good reviews on this site is www.miss-sophies.com where there are rooms with private facilities. it is out of the centre but near to a good tram connection to the centre and the castle area. you will need to enquire as to their cancelation policy
