shots before traveling?

I read somewhere the Czech republic makes you show proof of shots prior to entering the country? It was newspaper article on Prague that my mother-in-law sent me. Is this true or BS? I have a passport and have traveled many places, the only time I received shots prior to traveling was on a trip to Bali and I don%26#39;t believe they were mandatory. Hep A %26amp; B.

I travelled to Prague last year and didn%26#39;t need any shots - not read anywhere that this has changed.

Hi

I don%26#39;t think any vacinations are required to visit EU countries and I%26#39;ve never seen anything in imigration to make me think otherwise.

Curious as to when that article was from. Anyway, I wasn%26#39;t asked for any proof of anything earlier this month.

I have travelled to the Czech Republic on many occasions and never had to provide proOf of innoculations. On another travel forum someone asked if proof of health insurance was required (they had none) I have never been asked for this anywhere I have travelled but anyone travelling without it is an idiot.

I am not aware of any vaccination requirement for tourists. I think it%26#39;s safe to call it a BS.

Nevertheless, vaccination against hepatitis A %26amp; B is always useful regardless of destination and travelling without health insurance is simply crazy.

Not required, but a shot of vodka is recommended.

there are occasionally outbreaks of diseases in other countries and the Czech Republic and other EU countries require people who have recently been traveling to them to show that they are vaccinated against the relevant disease, but if you have not been traveling anywhere exotic recently, and are just coming from the US, you should be ok.

Curiously enough, mrs peb was required by the stasi UK immigration authorities to have an on the spot screen for tuberculosis at heathrow airport before she was let into the UK recently, because the UK authorities have the czech republic on their list as a high risk country for tuberculosis
