Parking at Hotel Aria

I will be staying in the American Embassy apartments in September but will need to park my car at Hotel Aria or another hotel close by (they have sent me recommendations, but I don%26#39;t remember the other hotel name). Has anyone used the garage/parking at Hotel Aria? Do the staff speak English? Do you feel the garage is secure?

Thanks.

Hi, I am sure it is safe and secure, certainly they will speak English.

I am surprised they will not let you park directly across from the Embassy

I%26#39;m guessing this is a hire car? If so, try and hand it back in as soon as you get to Prague. You won%26#39;t use the car whilst in Prague so you%26#39;ll just be paying for hire and for the parking when not using it.

You can walk everywhere from the American Embassy, but if your feet are weary then there are really frequent trams from a stop just round the corner on the 22 and 23 line (Prague-Castle - National Theatre - Narodni Trida (close to Wencelas Square).

The entire central area of Prague is pedestrianised so your car will not be of any use to you - except to get you fined for traffic violations or towed for parking in the wrong place (if you don%26#39;t speak Czech this is really easy to do). Bear in mind that whilst Czech police have got a lot better they will still regard American drivers as an ATM on wheels.

The parking is safe, the staff at the hotel fluent in English and very very nice. You will want to stay there :-))))

Thank you for your responses. I am sure I would like to stay at Hotel Aria, but the embassy apartments are more in my price range!

hotel aria car park is underground, accessed by a pass and therefore should be pretty safe. don%26#39;t assume though that if you don%26#39;t stay at the hotel that you can automatically use the hotel aria car park - it may be full up with aria guests
