Peb 7

Here I sit look at flights for my friend and her boyf to come to Prague, she was over for the wedding but was well chaperoned as she hasn%26#39;t travelled much. So I want a central cheap but clean hotel for them. Was thinking Kampa Garden, or cloister inn possibly.

Could you be a darling and give me anymore ideas, she%26#39;s just buying her first house so doesnt want to go mad on hotels.

Cheers chuckie egg.

PS Hope Mrs P is topping that shoe closet up and keeping you out of mischief.

cloister inn is a lot of people%26#39;s choice for the old town. try also the casa marcello near the old town square which has good character. in the castle area, u karlov mostu and the constans have better reviews than the kampa garden

Hi Sarah,

We stayed in the Cloister last December and it was fine, as long as you ask for a room in the new part of the hotel as I think the others were not as nice.Got it for a good price and location was great.

someone else posted on a different thread about the certovka next to the charles bridge which is also worth looking at

Cheers m%26#39;dears, most appreciated.

|||

happy to help. how is the new house?

|||

Keeping me holidaying in the yorkshire dales for the time being! Still a fair amount to do to properly stamp the Sarah Daly mark on it once and for all, but it feels a bit like home, and the chocolate fairy keeps leaving stuff on the door step which helps ;-)

|||

be careful with too much chocolate. causes diabetes and loss of sight (which is good, as you can sell more glasses)

|||

Have you been lurking on OTC? Keeps me in holidays and shoes.

The bounty fairy was most impressed with my cheap trip to Prague deal sooooo watch this space.

|||

no. can never find the OTC. went to the doctor for a checkup (appear to have much the same diet as you) and once they had examined the 35 pints of blood they took out of me ended up with a nasty shock.
