Residence Karolina

Hi,

My wife and I were planning to visit Praha for 5 days during August end. We%26#39;ve to choose from Hotel Grand at Old Town Square (plenty of information available) and Residence Karolina (no reviews seen so far).

If someone could enlighten us on Residence Karolina, we%26#39;d be grateful. Besides hearing your views of the place, I wanted to ensure it%26#39;s in a safe neighbourhood and close enough to all the sights.

Thanks

residence karolina are apartments on karoliny svetle street about 5 minutes walk from the old town square. grand hotel praha is a 5 star hotel. you are comparing completely different things

if you are after something in between, look at the pachtuv palace near the charles bridge

thanks. the reason why I wanted to choose between these two is that their costs (assuming I take a deluxe room with a view at the hotel) are comparable.

the Hotel is right at Old Town Square but the apartment seems nicer.

I have loads of info about the hotel but would love to hear from someone who%26#39;s lived at (or near) this apartment building.

Thanks

Clarification: sorry for the confusion: OldToad and morepheus_reg are one and the same. I forgot I had an older username on this forum.

look at the following website where there are pictures:

prague-city-apartments.cz/product/print_cz_R…

the apartments don%26#39;t seem comparable with what the grand hotel praha or grand hotel bohemia offer in terms of luxury

Hi

I haven%26#39;t stayed there myself, but if you look on www.booking.com, they have excellent reviews and I%26#39;m thinking of booking it for December.
