have booked a return transfer from airport to branik, at a total cost of £29, is this a good price, or would a taxi be cheaper, having read some of the reviews of taxi%26#39;s in prague i thought the return transfer was the better option, any assistance please.

return transfer of 29 pounds is about 1200 crowns. you could not get a taxi from the airport for this price to and from branik. the price you have obtained is a good one.
question is, having booked the transfer, if we had said it was a complete rip off, would you have been able to cancel?

650-700 czk (£16-£18) is the usual price for a one way transfer to the city center and Branik is well to the south of the center so a return for £29 is very good in my opinion.

thanks unclegus, rather have piece of mind when arriving at the airport

the price of £29 was what we paid booking with www.prague-airport-transfers.co.uk in July, and if it%26#39;s them you%26#39;ve booked I%26#39;m sure you won%26#39;t be disappointed. The driver was there in the arrivals area displaying my name on a board as soon as we came through with our luggage. He had a newish air conditioned Mercedes parked just a few metres from the terminal. He spoke good English and gave us a lot of useful information on the way to the hotel including tips about where to eat. I was a bit worried about whether they would remember to pick us up for the return journey but the same guy was there early wainting for us in the hotel reception when we came down to check out. You also get a 4 hour guided walking tour included in the price which was ok but would have benefited from a guide who%26#39;s English was better.

thanks to peb7 and unclegus ( again ) and thanks to sibuna.
In answer to your question peb7 we have booked but have not paid, payment is on arrival at the hotel and return payment is at the airport, payment is in cash either local euro%26#39;s or sterling.
