Honeymoon in Prague

I have to make some difficult decisions and we need your help.

Which hotel to choose? Best Western Premier Hotel Majestic Plaza or Radisson SAS

Which Restaurant on our Opera night? Mylnec or Vinarna V Zatisi or Bellvue

Lastly the Opera is at 19:00 should we dine before or after.

This is our short stay in Prague as we intend to Honeymoon at the Christmas Holidays.

not a difficult decision at all. radisson is leagues ahead of the best western

the restaurant for your opera night should depend on which opera house you are going to. the three restaurants you have chosen are all good for the national theatre and theatre of estates, but not good for the state opera.

for an opera at 7pm, i would eat afterwards. you don%26#39;t get a quick dinner in v zatisi and the like

Yeah we%26#39;ve booked the platinum deal with Bohemia Tickets. We should get great seats at the State Opera, Car for the evening and Mylnec after the Opera.

It all looks fantastic. Unfortunately we%26#39;ve gone for the Art Decot look at the Hotel Majestic Plaza. We recently stayed at an Art Decot hotel in the UK and we loved it.

Thank you for your prompt reply and kind advise.

By the way do you get paid for this? If you do I could become a local expert on the English Lake District. Any advice on that?

Radisson is far more famous as an art deco hotel than the majestic. radisson is the former hotel alcron and has far more art deco spledour than the majestic, not to say more comfort

don%26#39;t know what you paid for the platinum tickets, but you should note that with such deals, you probably don%26#39;t have the pick of the full menu at bellevue - you need to stick to a limited choice menu, which probably means you won%26#39;t appreciate bellevue as much as if you went by yourselves. in addition, where the radisson is - 10 minutes walk to the State Opera house - just up wenceslas square, with the one way traffic system, it will probably be just as long taking a taxi from the hotel to the Opera. most people who go to the state opera house dine afterwards at the very good zahrada v opere house next door to the opera. it is probably though too late for you to change your arrangements if you have booked.

tripadvisor experts are purely on a voluntary basis on people%26#39;s own time. would be great if we got paid, but alas. if you want to be a tripadvisor expert, post on a forum enough and they invite you to be one if they think you post sensibly and helpfully
