Supermarkets near Residence Masna

Hi, am staying with my family in apartment at Residence Masna for 5 days in late September. Grateful if Prague experts could recommend (and provide address) of nearby supermarket for shopping for essentials such as milk, bread, breakfast cereal, pasta, fruit, vegetables and chocolate! We arrive approx 12 noon on Saturday - are the supermarkets open on Saturday and Sunday?

There is the Kotva department store almost around the corner (200m from your hotel to be exact) and in the basement of the department store is a grocery supermarket ALBERT, open daily 7-21, Sun 8-21.

As you exit your hotel take the Masna street in the direction towards Benediktska, turn right to Rybna street and after approx. 50 m you will see the rear entrance to the Kotva dept. store on your left. Impossible to miss as Kotva is a huge, ugly, windowless 4-storey black building.

Thank you so much for responding so quickly. We can%26#39;t wait to start our holiday to Europe in Prague. We will have spent approx 30 hours travelling from Australia to get there so it will be great to just pop around the corner to pick-up supplies.

there%26#39;s a 24/7 grocery shop on the corner revolucni / dlouha street if you need to buy things after albert is closed...

across the same square as kotva department store is the austrian run billa supermarket - fresh vegetables and fruit tend to be better there than the dutch run albert supermarket in kotva. billa like kotva is open all day on saturdays and sundays
